Feeding Presentation in the Sea Aquarium
Go down two staircases and you are in the Sea Aquarium, full of fish, crabs, starfish and anemones. The animal caretaker has a feeding dish for all the different animals: pieces of fish, mussels, squid and mini-shrimp. The fish swim to where the food is, so you can see them really well. Flatfish are really strange-looking with their lopsided head. Very different than the rays, which are symmetrical. The animal caretaker explains why that is. Daily at 2.30 p.m.
Dutch spoken, but you can ask questions at the end of the presentation.
