Beautiful, amazing, impressive: superlatives fall short upon seeing a fin whale skeleton. The 24-metre-long skeleton originates from the largest animal ever to be washed ashore in the Netherlands. In the exhibition you can stand next to it and imagine how she once swam across the oceans.

Fin whales are the largest whales on earth; only the blue whale is larger. They make the humpback and sperm whale appear small in comparison!
