“I went to that seal rescue center on Texel Island. The location is beautiful, and the staff were friendly and helpful. While the entry price was a bit high, I didn’t mind as I know the money goes toward feeding the animals and maintaining the protection area.
Some parts were still under construction, but I enjoyed learning about sea animals’ life and exploring the aquarium.”

“What can I say! This is one of the best places I have been to in The Netherlands. Love what they do for the rescue seals. Be there at 11 am or 3.30 pm to watch them feed the seals. Besides, they also have rescue birds and a whole area of aquariums. You can see so many sea animals along with interactive information tabs. Definitely worth the visit.”

“Wow, we spent almost 5, five(!), hours here and really enjoyed it! ✨
Very interesting museum especially about the Wadden Sea and life within, but also North Sea and Texel itself.
If you have a few hours left, this is the place to go! ✌🏽”

“Amazing visit today, with super helpful staff make the visit with both a wheelchair and assistance dog super seamless.
The seals all seemed very happy with plenty to do and watch for a fair few hours. The dunes walk is also great fun and incredibly pretty.”

“This was my second visit but first with my fiancé. I’d been telling about this place for years and it didn’t disappoint when at last I had the chance to take her. It’s a lovely place to visit and has a lot to see. The work they do in conservation is evident.
Well worth a visit. Especially on a rainy day. The gift shop is well stocked with reasonably priced items.”
